The OSV 8000 is a skid mounted tank protected by a robust frame designed to withstand rough handling under severe weather & sea conditions. This tank meets the requirements of DNV 2.7-1 Specifications for North Sea conditions. Safe and easy handling is catered for by four upper lifting lugs and two fork lift pockets.

This tank also has approvals for road, rail and sea transport. It has DNV 2.7-1 / EN 12079 ADR / RID and IMDG approvals and can be used for nitrogen work on oil rigs throughout the World.

 The tanks can be produced with working pressures up to 6 bar (88 psig). ASME versions can be offered at pressures of either 3 or 4.5 bar.


The tank also features high vacuum super-insulation, stacking capability 2 high, full set of decals (including logo’s where supplied by customer), pressure build system and various pipework options for maximum versatility.

Option 1: Rear Fill direct to rear of tank allowing concurrent bottom fill / liquid decant

Option 2: Rear Fill external to tank via main Tank Isolation Valve

Option 3: Any of the above arrangements with Meca Inox Cryogenic Ball Valves as alternative to Herose Globe Valves
